The Rajasthan Police Sub-Inspector (SI) recruitment is a demanding, multi-stage competitive process conducted by the Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC), where the final selection hinges on combined performance across all phases. The role of a Sub-Inspector (SI) in the Rajasthan Police is a position of considerable authority and responsibility, making it one of the most prestigious jobs in the state police services. The SI acts as a crucial link between the constabulary and senior officers, often being the First Investigating Officer (FIO) on cases, and typically takes charge of smaller police stations or police outposts, or serves as a Platoon Commander in the Rajasthan Armed Constabulary (RAC).

Educational Qualification: Must possess a Bachelor’s Degree (Graduation) in any discipline from a recognized University.

Age Limit: Must be between 20 and 25 years of age (with relaxations applicable for reserved categories, including 5-10 years for SC/ST/OBC candidates).

Physical Standards: Must meet the minimum Physical Measurement Test (PMT) standards, including a minimum height of 168 cm for Male candidates and 152 cm for Female candidates.
Exam Pattern
The SI selection process is conducted by RPSC and comprises three main stages: Written Exam, Physical Test, and Interview.
A. Written Examination (Total 400 Marks)

This stage carries 50 marks and is the final assessment of the candidate’s personality and suitability.
